Season 2 of Teen Titans Go! was ordered by Cartoon Network, due to the successful ratings of the previous season. For this season, the airdate has moved to Thursday nights at 6:00 pm. It premiered on June 12, 2014 with the airing of "Mr. Butt" and it ended on July 30, 2015 with the premiere of "Some of Their Parts".
After the episode "Money Grandma", the season had a two-week hiatus due to saving room for Total Drama: Pahkitew Island, but it continued broadcasting for the episode, "I See You".
For the holiday season, the show took another hiatus, but resumed broadcast with the episode "Mouth Hole". Following "Yearbook Madness", the series took another hiatus. The 100th episode of the series, "And the Award for Sound Design Goes to Rob", aired during a week of new episodes.
